Free Weekly drama workshops start at YMCA Nelson on Wednesday the 21st of May

 

Are you a born performer? Are you aged 13-25? Would you like to work alongside professional theatre makers? Are you interested in using theatre to explore issues that affect your life? Would like to create your own work for a youth theatre festival in July?

 

If the answer is yes and you are able to commit to at least 7 weeks of sessions then we would love to hear from you. The sessions will run from 18.30-20.30 each week and are free of charge with an end of project performance on Thursday 3rd and Friday the 4th of July.

 

The theatre created will then be used as the starting point for a film project we are running over the July holidays.

No experience necessary just commitment and enthusiasm. All participants will be encouraged to lea all aspects of film production from camera person to editor.
